Neelu is a former psychologist who was was injured by the tetanus diphtheria shot in 2010.
She is a travel enthusiast and yogini, and completed the Buddhist Pilgrimage through Nepal and India well over a decade ago.
Having spent part of her childhood in Iran, Neelu is a lifelong peace advocate who believes the eternal Creator brings order out of chaos—a passion shaped by her faith, the teachings of Jesus, and by experiencing the devastation of the Iran-Iraq War.
She feels ancestral guidance and the messages of interconnectedness from Zoroastrian priests, known as biblical Magi, as well as prophet Daniel, whose resting place is in Iran; from Queen Esther, who also rests in Iran and without whom there would be no Purim; and from the Persian poet and Sufi mystic, Rumi. Rumi’s ancestors converted to Islam, and he was born Muslim. It is said that upon his death, thousands of grieving Zoroastrians, Jews, Christians and Muslims wished to carry his body to rest in a gesture of honor and interconnectedness, to claim him as their own.
